Fort Meade

Potomac Place

Find out what Potomac Place can offer your family.

Potomac Place was named for the Army of the Potomac commanded by General George G. Meade.

Corvias and the Army’s very first Neighborhood Center was built here in 2003 and not only offers all of the benefits and amenities any resident could need, but boasts the largest of all the Neighborhood Centers on Fort Meade. The family-friendly center features a half-court basketball gym, children’s library and even a communications kiosk for residents to share the fun with friends and family from afar—allowing them to record video messages for email.

New and renovated homes for junior NCO, senior NCO, company-grade and field-grade officers have been designed with input and recommendations from Fort Meade families themselves. Since Potomac Place was Fort Meade’s first new neighborhood, it showcases all styles of homes, including Craftsman, Colonial, Urban, Eclectic and Seaside. Each style creates an atmosphere of homes that you might find in various parts of Maryland, so take your pick—there’s something for everyone here. Nearby, you’ll find the Commissary, Post Exchange, Post gas station and Manor View Elementary School.
